On Thursday, July 24th, 2025, BLUF San Francisco (BLUFSF) held its 15th Annual IN GEAR Dinner at the Cadillac Bar & Grill. The dinner was nearly sold out and welcomed folx from across the country and the overseas. Appetizers and a buffet made up the cuisine for the evening; the food was well-received.
To commemorate the 15th year, BLUFSF held a 15-item auction raffle comprised of items curated from the event organizers’ collections to include a travel cigar kit, Leather gear, and play gear. All items looked to have gone to great homes. Following the dinner, attendees were invited to a special edition of BLUFSF HARD at the SF Eagle which was also well-attended.
BLUFSF thanks the following for helping make the night a success:
- The BLUFSF Team: SIR Aaron Wolf, John Kouletsis, David Ahle, Calder Storm, Dave Fong, Greg Tse, Ghee Phua, and Jonathan Villanueva. Special tnanks to Dave Fong for being the evening’s photographer.
- Special Guest: Cornelius Washington, freelance photojournalist for the Bay Area Reporter. Thank you for documenting the night with your camera and presence. Looking forward to seeing you more!
- Beneficiary: San Francisco Leathermen’s Discussion Group (SFLDG); thank you, Jay Harcourt, for speaking and for the raffle auction help.
- Dinner Venue: Cadillac Bar & Grill; thank you to the chefs, bartenders, and servers for your hard work. Special shout out to Guillermo for ensuring we had what we needed as soon as we needed it and for keeping the food flowing.
- HARD: The SF Eagle; thank you for hosting a special edition of HARD after the dinner! It was great to see the BLUFSF banners up and so present to welcome folx to the patio.
Congratulations to ALL the raffle auction winners; it was heartening to see the curated pieces going to great homes.
Last but not least, thanks to YOU, the folx in the Community, who showed up for dinner and/or to HARD. Your attendance and generosity make events like this happen and hoppin’. Here’s to next year!
