The inaugural Capitol City Edition of our annual BLUFSF IN GEAR Holiday Dinner was well-attended with nearly 20 Leatherfolx coming together in gear at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Midtown Sacramento.

As in SF, BLUFSF passed out holiday cards to all attendees before we sat down for dinner. In attendance were Mr. Bolt 2026 Bear Boucher and 2023 Northwest Bootblack Innocent Darlington as well as a group from the Bay Area. The dinner brought members of the Sacramento Leather Community together and was a great way to spend time with fellows before the holiday.

After dinner, a few of us headed to the Bolt for an informal gathering. Contributions were made to the Bolt’s Toy Drive and we hung out on the patio. The gathering was laid back and served as a chill cap to the night.

The BLUFSF IN GEAR Holiday Dinner became an annual tradition following the pandemic, providing Leatherfolx an opportunity to get together in gear during the holiday season. The dinner has historically occurred before the December of the monthly HARD event at the SF Eagle. This was the inaugural edition of the holiday in Sacramento and will return in 2026.

• The SF Leather Contingent: Thank you Billy from Leathermen Travel, Bill Burdick, and David Ahle for making the trip from the Bay Area to attend the dinner. It meant a great deal to see you there.
